Chevler, the UK’s leading manufacturer of baking cases, has launched a new range of football-themed baking cases in convenient pack sizes. The move will help craft bakers and small cake makers take full advantage of world cup related spending expected in June and July.
Chevler Managing Director Stuart Whelan said: ‘Football fever will sweep the country later in the year and by making our new range of soccer themed baking cases available in packs of just 360 we are helping craft bakers and small producers take advantage of the opportunities the tournament will offer.'
There seems to be no let up in the cupcake craze with volume sales last year up nearly 14% according to recently published figures. And with the popularity of the national game remaining as high as ever Mr Whelan points out the new cases will also have all-year round appeal and will be particularly popular for occasions such as boys' birthdays.
A sponsor of National Cup Cake Week, which will be held in September, Chevler has won an enviable reputation for innovation, product quality and customer care since being formed a year ago following a management buy-out.
The company now makes over one billion baking cases a year in some 600 shapes and sizes. It is believed to be unique in the UK in that all its printing and converting is carried out in-house and, therefore, does not have to rely on stock shipped from abroad
