Chevler Uses Iba To Kick-Off Major Export Sales Drive

Chevler, the UK’s leading manufacturer of baking cases and tulip wraps is exhibiting at Iba (Hall A4, Stand 535) for the first time. The company will be using the Munich show as the launch pad for a sustained export sales drive and to introduce a number of exciting new designs and ideas.

Continuing investment in new equipment, specially made to its own specification, over the past two years, has enabled the south-Wales food packaging company to double its production capacity in order to cope with increased demand.

Sales and marketing director Mike Wescomb said: “We are now in position where we can satisfy the demands of the of the UK market for both plain and printed baking cases and tulip wraps.

“We are currently making over one billion baking cases a year in some 600 shapes and sizes and because all our printing and converting is carried out in-house we do no have to rely on stock shipped from abroad. It puts us in a unique position because we also have the biggest round stock range on the market,

“Our aim, therefore, over the next 12 months is to increase our market share in Europe and the United States and those countries where a cafe culture and the market for cupcakes and muffins is growing or about to take-off.  Exhibiting at Iba will kick-off our campaign.

Chevler, whose products are manufactured to strict food hygiene industry standards, will be showcasing both baking cases and tulip wraps including new designs and sizes which will be of interest to both high volume cake manufacturers and the craft sector.

Mr Wescomb also revealed that the company would be unveiling a couple of new products on its stand which he feels will certainly catch the eye of visitors
